Palestinian telecommunications companies Jawwal and Al-Wataniya provide mobile phone and internet services via a 3G network, as well as roaming through connection with different global networks. Visitors from abroad are recommended to buy a SIM card from one of the two local companies if staying for a long period. The SIM card is obtainable from either of the companies’ centers, or from the accredited telephone stores spread across the city.
