About the App

The  application has been created as a tourist guide for Palestinian cities, starting with Nablus city, in Arabic and English by the Old Cities Jerusalem Revitalization Program – Taawon and funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development. This app is an extension of the Nablus Tourism Guide, which was prepared and printed in 2022.

The app provides an interactive experience for all visitors to the city of Nablus. It serves as a one-stop shop for tourists planning to visit Nablus, offering comprehensive information about the city.

Features of the App

• A comprehensive list of historical, religious, and archaeological sites within the old city of Nablus, catering to the interests of visitors and tourists.
   
• Tourist Itineraries: The app offers three tourist itineraries: two within the old city and one outside the old city, accompanied by detailed descriptions and maps.
   
• Essential information for visitors: The app provides helpful information for visitors to Nablus, including transportation options, tourist offices, parks, and more.This app is a continuation of the efforts of the Jerusalem Old Cities Revitalization Program - Taawon, which began working in the old city of Nablus in 2007. With the support of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, the program developed a plan to revitalize the old city, leading to the restoration and rehabilitation of many residential buildings, residential courtyards, public buildings, and squares.

These efforts aim to preserve the city's historical and cultural heritage and create a comprehensive revitalization and development process. The program recognizes that documentation and knowledge management are essential pillars for preserving cultural heritage and documenting buildings, landmarks, and architectural structures for future generations.
