Nablus has two universities; an-Najah National University (NNU) and al-Quds Open University (QOU). A lot of the educational programs and degrees are provided by these two universities. They include the bachelor's, the master's and doctoral levels. In addition to that there are a number of community colleges such as Ibn Sina College for Health Sciences, an-Najah National College, Hisham Hijjawi College for Technology, Andaleeb al-Amad College for Nursing, Mariam Hashem Center for Culinary Arts & Catering and ar-Rawda College.
